Alice G. Kreis

Alice Gallagher Kreis, 89, of Naples, Fla., formerly of Pittsfield, died Thursday at home. Born in Oyster Bay, N.Y., on Aug. 19, 1911, daughter of Hugh J. and Alice Wade Gallagher, she moved to Naples in 1974. She was a communicant of St. Charles' Church and a member of St. Ann's Church in Naples. She enjoyed traveling. Her husband, Kenneth P. Kreis, died Nov. 11, 1993. Her closest survivors are several cousins. Graveside services and interment will be held Thursday, Aug. 2, at 10:30 in the Cemetery of the Evergreens, Lebanon Springs, N.Y. A memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Aug. 11, at 10 at St. Ann's Catholic Church, corner of 3rd Street and 9th Ave. South, Naples. Memorial donations to St. Ann's Catholic Church, 475 9th Ave. South, Naples, FL 34102; or to Hospice of Naples, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples, FL 34105. DWYER FUNERAL HOME is in charge of local arrangements.
