Thomas Armstrong

Thomas U. Armstrong, 66, of Hillsboro Beach, Fla., formerly of Great Barrington, died July 25 at home. Born in Great Barrington on May 17, 1935, son of Thomas C. and Evelyn Underhill Armstrong, he graduated from Phillip Exeter Academy and in 1957 from Williams College. He was employed by IBM for many years, retiring in 1987. He leaves his wife of 42 years, the former Paula Massey; a son, Turner Massey Armstrong of Fairfield, Conn.; a daughter, Taralyn Kohlman of Parkland, Fla., and three grandchildren.
