John M. Wojtaszek, 32
ADAMS, Mass. — John Martin Wojtaszek, 32, of 16 1/2 East Hoosac St. died Sunday afternoon, Aug. 5, 2001, as a result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 8.
Born in North Adams on Nov. 6, 1968, son of Francis J. Wojtaszek Jr. and Judith Gross Wojtaszek of Adams, he attended St. Stanislaus' School and graduated from Hoosac Valley High School in 1986, and from Hudson Valley Community College in Troy, N.Y., in 1988 with a certificate in automotive technology.
Mr. Wojtaszek had been employed by Crescent Creamery in Pittsfield as a driver for the past year. Earlier, he had worked as a mechanic at McAndrews-King Pontiac/Buick/GMC and Berkshire Fuel Auto Center.
He was a communicant of St. Stanislaus' Church.
Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, the former Renee M. Maynard, whom he married Feb. 4; a son, Nathan T. Wojtaszek, at home; a brother, James H. Wojtaszek of Adams; a sister, Frances J. Sagendorph of Pittsfield, and his paternal grandmother, Julia Livsey of Adams.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mr. Wojtaszek will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Adams. The Rev. John C. Chwalek, pastor, will officiate. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to a trust fund to be established for his child through AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, which is in charge of arrangements.
