Clara A. Doran

Clara A. Doran, 93, formerly of 149 Bradley St., died yesterday at Laurel Lake Nursing Center in Lee, where she had been a patient for several years. Born in Adams on Feb. 29, 1908, daughter of the late Frank and Anna Owstrowski Wojnicki, she attended Adams schools. She was employed by the former H.W. Clark Biscuit Co. for several years prior to her marriage in 1933. She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church. Her husband, Henry Doran, whom she married Nov. 15, 1933, died July 24, 1986. She leaves two sons, Henry G. Doran Jr. of North Adams and Robert F. Doran of Key Largo, Fla.; two daughters, Margaret Undzis of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Carolyn Cheesbro of North Adams; a brother, Stephen Wojnicki of North Adams; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandson. Private funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday in AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, North Adams. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. There will be no calling hours. The family requests the omission of flowers and suggests those who wish make memorial donations in her memory to Ecu-Health Care Inc. through the funeral home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247.
