I was lucky enough to be both a friend and team-mate of Fran at Drury High School and in Ottawa University, Ks. We were both kickers and he was actually my mentor. Fran was a great athlete and person and will be missed by many of the former Northern Berkshire athletes and the community in general. I'm proud to have been his friend !
