Dorothy H. DeGrenier, 80, of 54 Melbourne Road died yesterday at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Pittsfield on May 3, 1921, daughter of William and Marie Suttung Hebert, she was a 1939 graduate of Pittsfield High School and a 1943 graduate of the former St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing. Mrs. DeGrenier was employed as a registered nurse at Berkshire Medical Center, retiring in 1983 after 41 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Mark's Church and a member of the St. Luke's Alumnae Association. She leaves a son, Mark R. DeGrenier of Omaha, Neb.; three daughters, Karen M. DeGrenier of Phoenix, Gayle P. Fawcett of Pittsfield and Lynn M. Fabre of Amsterdam, N.Y.; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be tomorrow, Thursday, Aug. 9, at 8:15 a.m. from DWYER FUNERAL HOME, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Mark's Church, celebrated by the Rev. Henry Dorsch, pastor. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Calling hours will be at DWYER FUNERAL HOME today, Wednesday, Aug. 8, from 4 to 7:30. If friends desire, donations may be made to the CYC, care of DWYER FUNERAL HOME, in her memory.
