Laura Kushneroff

Laura Kushneroff, 99, of Bradley Street died Tuesday at Kimball Farms Nursing Care Center in Lenox. Born in Gomel, Russia, on March 25, 1902, she attended schools there. She came to the United States in 1927 and resided in Ohio until moving to New York City in 1930. She moved to Miami in the late 1960s, and to Lee in 1995 to make her home with her granddaughter, Wendy Barash. She was employed by Macy's Department Store in New York City as a seamstress. She enjoyed deep-sea fishing and landscape painting. Her husband, Viktor Kushneroff, died in 1977. She leaves a granddaughter, Wendy Barash of Lee. A daughter, Rosalyn Barash, died in November 1988.
