Frances M. Asci

Frances M. Asci, 87, of Albany, N.Y., a native of Great Barrington, died Aug. 2 at Albany County Nursing Home. Born in Great Barrington on Nov. 28, 1913, daughter of John and Louise Carlotto, she attended schools there. She lived in Pittsfield from 1938 to 1963. She was employed as a dressmaker and sales lady for more than 20 years with the Land of Fabrics in Westgate Plaza in Albany. A communicant of Sacred Heart Church in North Albany, Mrs. Asci was a member of its Rosary Society. She was also a member of the North Albany Neighborhood Association. She leaves a son, Joseph "Joey" Asci of Fort Pierce, Fla.; a brother, Peter Carlotto, and a sister, Angela Hayden, both of Housatonic, and five grandchildren.
