Audrey Budlong

Audrey Budlong, 75, of 20 E. Housatonic St. died Wednesday evening at Berkshire Medical Center. Born in Holyoke on Dec. 21, 1925, daughter of Clayton and Clare Langlois Struthers, she attended schools there and was a 1942 graduate of Holyoke High School. Mrs. Budlong was employed as a telephone operator at the New England Telephone Co. in Springfield for almost 20 years. Primarily a homemaker in her later years, she moved to Pittsfield in 1969. Her husband, Donald B. Budlong, whom she married April 16, 1949, in Springfield, died Dec. 24, 1996. She leaves three daughters, Pamela A. Sinopoli-Pace of Grants Pass, Ore., Claudia S. Florczyk of Safety Harbor, Fla., and Ellen B. Taxter of Pittsfield; a son, Clayton G. Budlong of Millis; eight grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services for the family will be held Monday at the DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, if friends desire, memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice in care of the funeral home.
