Anna Mae O'Neil, 66, of 82 Quincy St. died Monday at North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in North Adams on June 9, 1935, daughter of Marie J. Lefebvre St. Jacques and the late Joseph G. St. Jacques, she attended the former Notre Dame Elementary School. Her family moved to Williamstown and she attended the former Williamstown High School. She had resided in North Adams since 1973. She was employed by General Cable in Pownal, Vt., for several years, and was a nanny for area families. She was most recently employed by Jarisch Paper Box Co. for five years before retiring in 1988. She was a communicant of Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church. Her husband, Robert W. O'Neil, whom she married Oct. 28, 1988, died April 11, 1993. Besides her mother of the town of Florida, she leaves two brothers, Raymond St. Jacques of the town of Florida and Louis St. Jacques of Pittsfield. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated at noon Friday in Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Friends may call at AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, North Adams, from 11 a.m. Friday until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her memory be made to either Notre Dame Church, Our Lady of Mercy Shrine, or to a charity of the donor's choice, through the funeral home, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247.
