Thomas H. Hart

Thomas Hooker Hart, 80, of 1561 Cold Spring Road died Monday at North Adams Regional Hospital, where he was admitted Saturday. Born in Albany, N.Y., on Oct. 26, 1920, son of William Cook Hart Jr. and Marjorie Talman Sinclair Hart, he grew up in Williamstown until age 12. He later attended various special schools because of a brain injury at birth. He returned to Sweet Brook Nursing Home in May 2000. Mr. Hart was a communicant of St. John's Episcopal Church in Williamstown. He leaves a brother, the Rev. Sinclair D. Hart of Williamstown. A service of committal will be held Thursday, Aug. 23, at 10 at the Danforth-Geer family lot in Westlawn Cemetery in Williamstown. The Burial Office will be said at 11 at St. John's Episcopal Church, 35 Park St., followed by a gathering in the Upper Room. There are no calling hours. The FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
