Pauline I. Trottier, 94

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Pauline Isabella Trottier, 94, of 140 Cliff St. died Friday, May 28, 2010, at Williamstown Commons. Born in North Adams on Feb. 6, 1916, daughter of Raymond and Emma Hamel Lanoue, she graduated from the former Notre Dame High School in 1934. Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Trottier worked in the former Hoosac Cotton Mills for a time. She was a communicant of the former Notre Dame du Sacre Coeur Church and was a member of its Children of Mary. She was also a bookkeeper at the church. An excellent cook, she was known for her Christmas Eve parties. She also enjoyed crafts. Her husband, Norman J. Trottier, whom she married on Nov. 29, 1940, died May 26, 1985. She leaves nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Four sisters and two brothers predeceased her: Eva Fountain, Alice DeMarsico, Evelina Card and Margaret DeMarsico, and Raymond and Albert Lanoue. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Trottier will be Friday, June 4, at 10:15 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, June 3, from 2 to 4. Memorial contributions may be made to VNA & Hospice of North Berkshire in care of the funeral home.
