NORTH ADAMS, Mass. â€' Arthur Joseph "Butch" Menard Jr., 67, of Ashland Street died Friday, June 4, 2010, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in North Adams on Oct. 8, 1942, a son of Arthur J. Menard Sr. and Lauretta Grenier Menard, he graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School.
Mr. Menard was employed for many years at the Williams Inn.
He was a communicant of the former Notre Dame Church and was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
He leaves a sister, Marilyn Sarkis and her husband, James, of Williamstown; three brothers, Wayne Menard and his wife, Glenda, of California, Craig Menard of Adams and David Menard and his wife, Andrea, of North Adams, and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE â€' A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mr. Menard will take place Friday, June 11, at 11 from St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
A calling hour will held Friday from 10 until 11 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St. North Adams. Memorial donations are suggested for the charity of the donor's choice through funeral home.
