William R. Pause, 84
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. â€' William Robert Pause, 84, of 1342 Church St. died Saturday, June 12, 2010, at North Adams Commons.
Born in Adams on March 26, 1926, son of Paul and Sylvia Jandran Pause, he attended Adams schools.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Mr. Pause was last employed by Brown Packaging Co. in Adams.
He was a communicant of the former St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Adams.
He and his wife, the former Kafa Rose Simon, were married on Nov. 15, 1947, in the former St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Gary P. Pause of Winter Park, Fla., Alan W. Pause of Cheshire and Wayne F. Pause of North Adams; five grandchildren, Seth Pause, MacKenzie Pause, Jaye Pause, Eric Pause and Jesse Pause; five great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Celeste, Gavin, Ava and Maya, and nieces and nephews
A sister, Gladys Bissaillon, is deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE â€' The funeral for Mr. Pause will be Saturday, June 19, at 11 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
A calling hour will be held Saturday morning from 10 to 11 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of the funeral home.
