Ann M. Pleshaw

Ann M. Pleshaw, 49, of 22 East Orchard Terrace died yesterday at home of a heart attack. Born in Adams on Nov. 29, 1951, daughter of Walter L. and Cecilia Rokita Wol, she graduated from St. Stanislaus' School and from the former St. Joseph's High School in North Adams in 1969. She also attended Berkshire Community College for several years. Mrs. Pleshaw was employed by First Agricultural Bank in Adams, North Adams and Williamstown, where she was a service representative and head teller. In 1991, she became employed with Commonwealth Sprague on Brown Street in North Adams. She was a member of St. Stanislaus' Church and of the International Union of Electrical Workers. She was the local union's secretary-treasurer for several years. She leaves her husband, Douglas V. Pleshaw, and a sister, Mary M. Butler of Adams. The funeral will be Monday at 9:15 from MCBRIDE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Liberty St., Adams. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated for her life on Monday morning at 10 in St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. The Mass will be concelebrated by the Rev. John C. Chwalek, pastor, and Mrs. Pleshaw's uncle, the Rev. Edward Hajduk of New Jersey. Burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sunday from 5 to 8. Memorial donations in her honor are suggested to the St. Stanislaus Kostka Schools' Scholarship Fund.
