Shirley M. Miller, 80
ADAMS, Mass. - Shirley May Miller, 80, of 5 Upton St., died Friday, Oct. 8, 2010.
Born in Holyoke, she was the daughter of Eli and Edna Bassett Pariseau.
Mrs. Miller was an active volunteer at First Congregational Church of North Adams and the Salvation Army, where she received an award for her volunteer service.
She was predeceased by her husband, John R. Miller.
She leaves two daughters, Rita E. Bean and her husband, Leonard, of Pittsfield, and Lois Pennington and her husband, William, of Cairo, N.Y.; two sons, Eli Pariseau of Bridgewater and John R. Miller Jr. of Adams; seven grandchildren, Tabitha Shepard and her husband, Jeffrey, Christopher Pennington, Shawn and Johnathan Butcher, Susan Reu, Doris Jean Hayes and Leonard Bean, and 12 great-grandchildren, Nikita, Michael, Zachary, Jennifer, Geri-Lynn, Mary, Seamus, Christine, James, Nikilo, Bella and Corbin.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service for Mrs. Miller will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16, at 3 at First Baptist Church, 88 South St., Pittsfield. There will be no calling hours and burial will take place at a later date.
