Patricia Walker, 71
ADAMS, Mass. — Patricia Walker, 71, of Adams died early Monday morning, May 30, 2011, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born on March 14, 1940, Ms. Walker was a longtime resident of the Berkshires.
Friends describe Ms. Walker as a courageous woman who opened the hearts and minds of many to the perplexity of the mentally and physically challenged. She was an inspiration to everyone who knew her. Her love of music, wrestling and action-packed movies was well known as was her warm smile and sense of humor. She will be missed by everyone she befriended and worked with over the years.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Ms. Walker will take place Thursday, June 2, at 11 from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery in Adams.
A calling hour will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 until the time of the service. Memorial donations are suggested for BFAIR through the funeral home.
