WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. â€' Laurentia M. Tatro, 97, 88 Bachand Ave., died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Ontario, Canada, on March 21, 1914, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Barette, she was from a family of 18.
Mrs. Tatro was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was a communicant of the Parish of Sts. Patrick & Raphael.
Her husband, Moses J. Tatro, whom she married in 1933, died in 1978.
She is survived by her son and caregiver, Gerald Tatro of Williamstown; 13 grandchildren including Sharon Michalenko of Savoy, who was also her caregiver; and 23 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by daughters Lorraine Tatro, Irene King and Agnes Hanson.
FUNERAL NOTICE Funeral services for Laurentia Tatro will take place Saturday, June 11, at 10 a.m. at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Eastlawn Cemetery. Calling hours are Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. Memorial donations are suggested for the Berkshire Humane Society through the funeral home.
