Mary T. Crandall, 85

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Mary T. Crandall, 85, of 85 Eagle St. died Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown. Born in North Adams on Feb. 26, 1926, daughter of Ercoli and Lucia Marino Simonelli, she graduated from Drury High School and lived for many years at 99 Veazie St. Mrs. Crandall was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. for many years until her retirement in 1986. She was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church and was a member of the Sprague Quarter Century Club. She enjoyed bowling and competed in many area tournaments. She leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Four brothers and a sister predeceased her: Santo, Joseph, Charles, Carmen and Anna "Lena" Simonelli. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Crandall will be Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at 9:15 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to Elder Services of Berkshire County in care of the funeral home. 2 Timothy 4:7 — I have fought a good fight; I have finished my course; I have kept the faith.
