Lucille M. Binder

Lucille M. Binder, 68, of 618 Osceola Road died Saturday evening at Wesson Women's Hospital in Springfield. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., on Nov. 19, 1932, daughter of Solomon and Pearl Moskowitz Louis, she was educated in New York schools and was a graduate of State University of New York at Albany. She lived in Pittsfield until 1988, when she moved to Richmond. Mrs. Binder was co-director and served as a yoga teacher at the Pittsfield Yoga Center until recently. She had worked there for more than 25 years. She was a registered nurse in her younger years. She and her husband, Gerald Binder, were married May 19, 1956. Besides her husband, she leaves two sons, Kevin Binder of Baltimore and Glen Binder of Glenridge, N.J.; two daughters, Kathy Petrucci of Dalton and Dawn Sachs of Leverett; a brother, Fred Louis of Saugerties, N.Y.; a sister, Isabel Ruderman of Philadelphia, and 11 grandchildren. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be conducted today at 4 at Pittsfield Cemetery by Temple Anshe Amunim's Rabbi Emeritus Harold I. Salzmann. DEVANNY-CONDRON FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
