Maud DeMarco, 97
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Maud "Nan" DeMarco, 97, of 102 Furnace St. died Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011, at Keystone Nursing Home in Leominster.
Born in Northfield on Nov. 3, 1914, daughter of Richard and Adeline Hale Stratton, she attended North Adams schools including Drury High School.
Mrs. DeMarco was employed by the former Waverly Fabrics in Adams.
She was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church. She enjoyed cooking and sewing.
Her husband, Patrick DeMarco died in 1958.
She leaves five grandchildren, Kimberly Woodford of Leominster, Kristin Shaw of Exeter, N.H., Patrick DeMarco of Phoenix, Ariz., Kevin DeMarco of Wells, Maine, and Jamie DeMarco of Guadalajara, Mexico; six great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Her son, Patrick DeMarco Jr., died in 1993 and her grandson Christopher DeMarco died in 2008. Four brothers and sisters are also deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A graveside service for Mrs. DeMarco will be held at a later date in Southview Cemetery.
