Delina T. Biagini

Delina T. Biagini, 80, of 70 Main St. died Monday at Springside of Pittsfield. Born in Pittsfield on Sept. 26, 1920, daughter of Pietro and Orsola Meglino Barosso, she attended schools in Pittsfield and had resided in Cheshire most of her life. She was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for nearly 30 years. She had also worked at the Board of Registry in Cheshire at one time. Mrs. Biagini was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church. She enjoyed playing bingo. Her husband, Raymond J. Biagini, whom she married March 30, 1940, died May 5, 2001. She leaves a son, Ralph C. Biagini of Cheshire; three sisters, Santina Janus and Ernestine Allessio, both of Pittsfield, and Mary Keegan of Albany, N.Y.; a grandson, and a great-granddaughter. Services will be Thursday at 9:15 from DERY-CHESHIRE FUNERAL HOME, 121 North State Road, Cheshire, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Mary's Church, celebrated by the Rev. David Raymond, pastor. Burial will follow in Cheshire Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Adams Ambulance Fund or to the Cheshire Fire Department, both in care of the funeral home.
