Sybil M. Kemp, 79
SAVOY, Mass. — Sybil Miriam Kemp, 79, of 67 Brier Road died Sunday morning, Dec. 4, 2011, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in Westfield on Dec. 21, 1931, daughter of Fred and Cleo Harwood Gould, she was a graduate of Pittsfield High School.
Mrs. Kemp had worked at the former Waverly Fabrics in Adams for several years.
She had been a member of the Brier Chapel in Savoy, and was a member of the Savoy Senior Citizens. She enjoyed cake decorating, sewing, woodworking and working with her computer.
She and her husband, Harold K. Kemp, were she married on Feb. 22, 1952.
Besids her husband of 59 years, she leaves a daughter, Shirley Poirot and her husband, Rick, of Adams; three grandchildren, Jeremy Tetreault and his wife, Kori, Leah Tetreault and Angela Tetreault, and two great-grandchildren, Gavin and Trey Tetreault.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mrs. Kemp will be private. Burial will be in the spring in Spruce Corner Cemetery, Savoy.
There will be no calling hours.
