Ronald F. LeBeau, 77
ADAMS, Mass. — Ronald Franklin LeBeau, 77, of 14 Meadow Lane died on Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, at his home.
Born in Adams on Dec. 17, 1934, only child of Leo and Rachel Gillette LeBeau, he attended schools in Adams and graduated from the former Adams High School with the class of 1953.
Mr. LeBeau last worked in the collections and dispatching departments of Berkshire Gas Co. in Pittsfield, until retiring. Earlier, he worked for the former GE Plastics in Pittsfield and the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams.
He was a member of First Congregational Church, where he served on many different committees. He was also a longtime member of the Adams High School class of 1953 reunion committee. He enjoyed biking, cross-country skiing and especially loved spending time with his family and friends.
He and his wife, the former Wanda I. Center, were married on Dec. 8, 1956.
Besides his wife of 55 years, he leaves a son, Scott LeBeau and his wife, Karen, of Adams and two grandchildren, Erika Snyder and her husband, Noah, of Cheshire and Gregory LeBeau and his wife, Jamie, of North Adams.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A memorial service for Mr. LeBeau will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 10:30 a.m. at First Congregational Church, Adams, by the Rev. Michael Mullany, pastor. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Adams First Congregational Church through Paciorek Funeral Home, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, which is in charge of arrangements.
