Florence Eisenberg

Florence Eisenberg, 86, of Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., formerly of Lee, died Tuesday at Phelps Hospital in Tarrytown, N.Y. Born in Tyringham on March 21, 1915, daughter of Barnett and Hannah Danzig Eisenberg, she graduated from Lee High School in 1933. A registered nurse, Miss Eisenberg graduated from the Nurses' Training School of the Greenville Hospital in Jersey City, N.J., in September 1936. She then took a five-month postgraduate course in ward management and teaching at Jewish Hospital in Philadelphia. She was appointed supervisor of the surgical floor of Greenville Hospital in 1937 and retired from the hospital 26 years ago. She was a member of Temple Beth El in Jersey City. She had been a resident of Croton-on-Hudson for 10 years. She leaves nieces and nephews.
