Ramona Phipps Weeks, 54, of Pilot Mountain, N.C., died Wednesday at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C., of cancer. She was the daughter-in-law of Arthur Weeks of Peru. Born in Lannett, Ala., on July 14, 1947, she was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Jo Williams Phipps.Mrs. Weeks was formerly employed by Lee Apparel in North Carolina. Her husband, James Melton Weeks, is deceased. She leaves two daughters, Michele Smith of Pilot Mountain and Christy Dease of Midway, N.C.; a brother, Ameche Phipps of Valley, Ala., and three grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Sept. 8, at 11 at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, with Bill Teague officiating.
