Dorothy E. Hill, 85
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Dorothy Evelyn Hill, 85, of 150 Ashland St. died Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Gardner, Maine, on May 30, 1927, daughter of Ernest and Hazel Edwards Kenney, she attended schools in Maine.
Mrs. Hill was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses and enjoyed trips to the beach.
Her husband, Francis R. Hill Sr., whom she married in 1943, died in 1974. They were married in 1943.
She leaves a daughter, Carol Harpin of Pownal, Vt; a son, Michael Hill of Adams, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her sons Francis Hill Jr. and Stephen Hill are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A graveside service for Mrs. Hill will be Friday, July 20, at 1 p.m. in Southview Cemetery.
