Edwin M. Rosasco, 84

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Edwin Mark Rosasco, 84, of 69 Quincy St. died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012, at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington. Born in North Adams on June 11, 1928, son of John B. and Emma Tallarico Rosasco, he graduated from Drury High School and from Syracuse (N.Y.) University. A veteran of the Korean War, he served in the Army. Mr. Rosasco was employed as a biologist for the federal government in Washington, D.C. He was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and skiing. He leaves his sister, Virginia "Ginger" Rosasco Brooks of Lady Lake, Fla., and nieces and nephews. A sister, Barbara Dell-Acquila, is deceased. FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mr. Rosasco will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 13, at 11 a.m. at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, North Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
