Regina Cormier, 80
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Regina Cormier, 80, of 90 Lincoln St. died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at North Adams Commons.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., on Dec. 25, 1932, daughter of Gustive and Alice Trenck, she graduated from Bronx High School. She moved to North Adams after her marriage
Mrs. Cormier was employed at Sweet Brook Care Centers in Williamstown until her retirement. She was first employed by the former Sprague Electric Co.
She was a member of Blackinton Union Church. Her favorite pastime was reading the Bible and officiating at Bible-study groups.
She leaves a daughter, Diane Trong of North Adams; a son, Paul Cormier of Marino Valley, Calif.; three grandchildren, Michael Trong and his wife, Michelle, of Pittsfield, Nathan Trong of North Adams and Jennifer Cormier of California; a great-grandaughter, Madelyn; two cousins, Thomas O'Connor and Neal O'Connor, both of Fort Lee, N.J., and her dear friend and caregiver, Connie, of North Adams
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Cormier will be Thursday, Jan. 17, at 9:30 a.m. at Blackinton Union Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to the Blackinton Union Church in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
