Edith Quinn

Edith Quinn, 91, formerly of Ghent, N.Y., died yesterday at home following a lengthy illness. Born in New York City on Dec. 5, 1919, daughter of Frederick and Hilma Peterson Wallengren, she was educated in schools there. She was employed by Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in New York City and St. Helena's Church for more than 20 years before moving to the Chatham, N.Y., area in 1970. Her husband, John F. Quinn, is deceased. She leaves two daughters, Dorothy Archetti of Chatham and Frances Kelleher of Housatonic, with whom she lived; six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 from WENK FUNERAL HOME, Chatham. There are no calling hours. Interment will be in the Spencertown Cemetery. For those who wish, memorials may be made to the Hospice of The Berkshires in care of Wenk Funeral Home, Chatham, NY 12037.
