Hall, Hoosac Roll to 10-0, Western Mass Crown
HOLYOKE, Mass. -- Matt Hall scored the game's first three touchdowns to give the Hoosac Valley football team a 24-0 lead, and the Hurricanes rolled to a 45-16 win over Ware in Saturday's Western Massachusetts Division 8 Championship game.
It was 24-8 at half-time befor the Hurricanes scored two more touchdowns to put the game out of reach on runs on by Vance Eugene and David Critelli.
The Hurricanes (10-0) will take on Nashoba Tech in next weekend's state semi-finals. Nashoba (7-3) won the Central Mass D8 title with a 39-16 win over Bartlett.
