Drury Boys Win at Home

HADLEY, Mass. – Ben Harrington scored one goal and assisted on another Thursday to lead the Drury boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion Charter.

 

Harrington set up Izaiah Grandchamp for a header in the 50th minute that gave the Blue Devils a 1-0 lead.

 

Paul George then sent Harrington a through ball that led to Drury’s second goal seven minutes later.

 

PVCICS’s Sean Wallace converted a penalty kick opportunity in the 65th minute, but Max Soto (four saves) and the Drury defense held the Dragons at bay from there.

 

Drury (1-1) hosts Mount Everett on Monday.
