Pittsfield, Monument Mountain Boys Play to a Draw
GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – The Pittsfield and Monument Mountain boys soccer teams played to a scoreless stalemate on Thursday afternoon.
“Hard fought battle between the two teams,” Pittsfield coach Ryan Wanek said. “I thought, defensively, we were outstanding. Offensively, we did well creating attacks but our final touch/pass/shot was not up to par. We need to be more ruthless in front of goal.”
Reese Cook-Dubin stopped three shots in goal for the Generals.
Pittsfield (2-8-2) hosts Taconic on Tuesday.
Monument Mountain (4-4-5) hosts Pope Francis on Tuesday.
