Taconic Tops Lenox
LENOX, Mass. – Ronan MacDonald scored a pair of goals on Monday to lead the Taconic boys soccer team to a 2-1 win over Lenox.
Both MacDonald’s goals came on assists from Frederick Yankey.
“Fred is hard to stop, and, usually, it takes multiple guys as he can dribble through many defenders and then make quality crosses,” Taconic coach Jason Keller said.
Keller said his keeper, Jonathan Parsons, played his best game of the year in the win.
Taconic got contributions from all 13 players who dressed for the contest.
The Thunder (5-7) is at Wahconah on Thursday.
Lenox (4-6-2) hosts Hampden Charter on Tuesday.
