Levesque Leads Hoosac Girls Past Drury

ADAMS, Mass. -- Shaleigh Levesque scored two goals Friday night to lead the Hoosac Valley girls soccer team to a 3-0 win over Drury at Renfrew Park.
 
“It was a fun night under the lights,” Hoosac Valley coach Kathy Budaj said. :It was nice to see us creating more opportunities and working the ball. The season is still early and getting a win under our belts is a good feeling.”
 
Riley Robinson scored the other goal, and the Hurricanes got assists from Alie Mendel, Grace Kronick and Claudia Bresett.
 
Kronick and Emily Godfrey combined to stop four shots in the Hoosac Valley goal.
 
Mackenzie Dobbert stopped 10 shots for Drury (2-2), which hosts Mount Greylock on Monday.
 
Hoosac Valley (1-1) is at Lenox on Monday.
