Lenox senior Taylor Knight was named the Berkshire County South Division MVP by the girls soccer league's coaches.

The coaches Monday released their all-star teams for the 2019 season.

Knight, who led the Millionaires to a Western Massachusetts Division 4 title, was joined by five of her teammates on the first team.

"Taylor was deployed anywhere on the field we needed her this season, including spending significant time in goal due to Sophie Patella's injury during the regular season," Lenox coach Kyle Zinchuk said. "When on defense or as a defensive mid, she was a physical, aggressive presence who worked well to win the ball and transition us back to offense.  When she was needed in goal, her absence on the field defensively was highly noticeable but she made up for it with terrific technical goalie skills and knowledge of the game."

The first-team all-South team includes:

Forwards: Kayla McGrath, Drury; Kendra Buda, Taconic; Solia Herndon-Schmid, Lenox; Caroline Maloney, Lee.

Midfield: Elli Miles, Drury; Madeline von Ruden, Mount Everett; Erin Czelusniak, Lenox; Mary Elliot, Lenox; Sydnie Sherman, Taconic; Ellie Miller, Lee.

Defense: Carly McElroy, Lee; Tess Zoito, Drury; Taea Bramer, Taconic; Makenzie Ullrich, Mount Everett; Taylor Knight, Lenox; Katherine Nichols, Lenox.

Keeper: Sophie Patella, Lenox.

The second-team all-South roster includes:

Madeleine Soudant and Emily Steuernagle, Mount Everett; Molly Macchi and Carina Brown, Lee; Ellianna Christopher and Ashley Armstrong, Taconic; Molly Knight and Clair Lynch, Lenox; and Mackenzie Dobbert and Sam Kogut, Drury.
