St. Mary's Girls Edge McCann Tech

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. – The McCann Tech girls soccer team Wednesday earned an advantage in shots on goal but came out on the wrong side of a 1-0 decision to St. Mary’s of Westfield in the teams’ second meeting in eight days.

Bella Lefevre finished with one save for the Hornets.

“We controlled the play all game, but their goalie was unstoppable,” McCann Tech coach Lindsay Lincoln said..”I credit her with playing a good game. She must have had 20 saves to our one save.”

The Hornets (3-9-3) finish the season on Thursday at Franklin Tech.
