Lawton Leads Mount Everett Girls Past Putnam Voc

SHEFFIELD, Mass. — Isabella Lawton scored a pair of goals Friday to lead the Mount Everett girls soccer team to a 6-1 win over Putnam Vocational.

 

Arianna Sermini, Josie Waiveris, Ainsley Krans and Alexandra Lawton also scored — Alexandra Lawton's goal coming on a penalty kick.

 

"This was a total team effort," Mount Everett coach Robert Giumarro said. "Everyone on this team has done what it takes to personally improve and it has shown on the field today."

 

Waiveris and Siobhan Fedell each had an assist in the win.

 

Mount Everett (1-6-1) goes to Lee on Monday.
