SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Madeleine Soudant made five saves Tuesday to help the Mount Everett girls soccer team finish its season with a 3-1 win over Drury.
Hannah Steuernagle, Logan Rathbun and Madeline VonRuden each scored a goal for the Eagles (5-10-1), who won two of their last three.
“The girls played well for their last game of the season,” Mount Everett coach Jessica Murtagh said. “It was certainly bittersweet to not be going on into the tournament, but I am very proud of the way the girls brought it together and finished the season.
Alison Felix scored a goal, and Hannah Singer and Olivia Witter-O’Neil combined for 10 saves for the Blue Devils (2-16).
