Mount Everett Girls Blank Pioneer Valley

SHEFFIELD, Mass. -- Hudah Ngoy Nkulu and Emily Steuernagle each scored a pair of goals Friday to lead the the Mount Everett girls soccer team to a 5-0 win over Pioneer Valley.
 
Allison Steuernagle scored the other goal, and Emma Goewey stopped seven shots to earn the shutout win in goal.
 
“The girls have been working hard all season and are starting to see the benefits of those efforts in the game,” Mount Everett coach Joshua King said. “Tonight was Senior Night, so for our four seniors -- Mariah Broderick, Hudah Ngoy Nkulu, Emma Stewart, and Lexi Tomascak -- this was a nice way to send them out with a win.”
 
Mount Everett (9-2-2) goes to Hopkins Academy on Monday.
