HADLEY, Mass. – Hopkins Academy’s Daisy Venditti scored in the second half to give the Hawks’ girls soccer team a 1-1 tie with Mount Everett on Monday.

Allison Steuernagle scored an unassisted goal for Mount Everett in the first half.

“We controlled the tempo in the first half until the last 10 minutes where Hopkins had us on our heels,” Mount Everett coach Joshua Kin said. “We came back out in the second half with more purpose but lost track of Venditti on the back side of a cross where Hopkins found the equalizer. We unfortunately still have some injuries and sicknesses, but that's no excuse as someone else needs to step up.”

Emma Goewey made 10 saves for the Eagles (5-2-1), who host Drury on Wednesday.
