Wahconah Outlasts Lee

DALTON, Mass. – Alex Rougeau recorded a double-double Tuesday as the Wahconah volleyball team pulled out a five-set win over Lee.

 

Rougeau put down 14 kills and pulled up 14 digs in the 20-25, 25-13, 20-25, 25-13, 15-13 win.

 

Melaina Haczela passed out 40 assists and served four aces, and Taea Cunigan finished with a team-high 18 kills while notching four aces in the win.

 

Lee was led by Hannah Achurra with 10 kills and nine digs. Alexis Masten also just missed a double-double with nine kills and 14 digs.

 

Kassidy Clark directed the Wildcats’ offense with 18 assists, and Claire Davis had 19 digs.

 

The Wildcats (4-5) go to Mohawk Trail on Friday.

 

Wahconah (6-3) hosts Frontier on Thursday.
