Wahconah Takes Down Mount Greylock in Five Sets

DALTON, Mass. – Taea Cunagin put down 14 kills Monday to lead the Wahconah volleyball team to a five-set win over Mount Greylock.
 
Cunagin served a pair of aces in the 25-21, 26-28, 25-17, 17-25, 15-10 win.
 
Alex Rougeau finished with 11 kills and three aces. Emma Jacinto had nine kills and five blocks, and Melaina Haczela recorded 33 assists in the win.
 
The Mounties were led by Olivia Perez with nine kills and eight assists; she also finished with three aces and three blocks.
 
Tyanna Lepicier had five kills, and Kaleigh Jaros had 12 assists and four aces in the loss.
 
Mount Greylock (3-2) hosts Taconic on Wednesday.
 
Wahconah (5-1) travels to East Longmeadow on Wednesday.
