Spartans Serve Their Way to 4-0 Mark

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Novella Taliercio served 11 aces Thursday to lead the Monument Mountain volleyball team to a 3-0 win over Libertas Academy Charter.

 

Taliercio also passed out a pair of assists and put down two kills in the win.

 

“Monument caught fire from the service line putting Libertas on their heels all match,” Spartans coach Kyle Henry said. “As a team, Monument Mountain served at 87 percent with 27 aces.

 

“It was a full team effort.”

 

Eliana Bialowas was perfect on her serves and recorded one ace.

 

Anjani Taliercio served six aces to go with her seven kills.

 

Monument Mountain (4-0) hosts Mount Everett on Tuesday.
