McCann Tech Harriers Head to Huntington
HUNTINGTON, Mass. – The McCann Tech cross country team competed in a three-team meet with Mohawk Trail and Gateway Regional on Tuesday at the Littleville Dam.
Leo Boltz and Virginia Kreamian posted first-place finishes for Mohawk, crossing the line in 21 minutes, 11 seconds and 21:30, respectively.
McCann Tech’s girls were led by Aliza Rozon, who ran a time of 26:26 to place fifth in the girls race. Julia Vareschi cracked the top 10, finishing ninth in 27:37.
On the boys side, Jackson Delmolino (29:25) and Jay Delmolino (35:27) were 11th and 15th, for the Hornets.
With McCann Tech not having enough boys or girls to score and Gateway not having enough boys for a team score, the only contested race was between the Mohawk Trail and Gateway girls, with Gateway pulling out a 26-33 win.
