Taconic Golfers Win at Hoosac Valley

ADAMS, Mass. – Gavin Maffuccio carded a 39 Monday to earn medalist honors and lead the Taconic golf team to a 162-178 win over Hoosac Valley at Forest Park Country Club.

 

Jason Codey backed up Maffuccio with a 40, and Charley Driscoll (41) and Simon Mele (42) rounded out the scoring on a day when all eight Thunder golfers finished at 46 or better.

 

Brayden Clark led Hoosac Valley with a 42. Ethan Moran birdied the par-4 ninth hole for the Hurricanes.

 

Hoosac Valley (0-3) goes to Mount Greylock on Wednesday.

 

Taconic (2-2) hosts Lee on Tuesday.
