Wahconah Golfers Top Taconic

PITTSFIELD, Mass. – Kessler Anello and Logan Aitken carded rounds of 38 and 39, respectively, Monday to lead the Wahconah golf team to a 170-182 win over Taconic at Berkshire Hills Country Club in the season opener for both teams.

 

Brayden Washburn birdied the par-5 fourth hole and the par-4 ninth hole on his way to a 46 in the win. Joey Houle rounded out the scoring for Wahconah (1-0) with a 47.

 

Taconic (0-1) was led by Charley Driscoll with a 42. Ethan Bishop finished at 45.

 

The Thunder is at Lenox on Thursday.

 

Wahconah hosts Hoosac Valley on Friday.
