ADAMS, Mass. -- Derek Alibozek carded a 37, and four Hoosac Valley golfers finished at 40 or better to earn a 154-210 win over Mount Everett on Friday at Forest Park Country Club.

Alibozek's round included a birdie on the 153-yard, par-3 fifth hole.

Henry Sniezek also picked up a birdie, on the ninth hole, en route to a 39. Hayden Grimes (38) and Luc Trombley (40) also scored for the Hurricanes.

"A cold, windy day but we pulled off our best score of the season," Hoosac Valley coach Jason Sniezek said. "Hats off to my two seniors Derek and Hayden for playing well today. And Henry and Luc right behind them. Hopefully we continue to get better for Western Mass."

Colby Stevens and Cooper Rothvoss led Mount Everett with rounds of 49. Rothvoss biried the ninth hole to highlight his round.

With Sunday's Berkshire County Classic canceled due to conditions at Stockbridge Golf Club, the Hurricanes are off until Tuesday when they host Monument Mountain.

Mount Everett is at Pittsfield on Tuesday.
