Wahconah Wins at Hoosac Valley

ADAMS, Mass. – Kesler Anello Friday carded a 1-over 35 at Forest Park Country Club to earn medalist honors and lead the Wahconah golf team to a 153-178 win over Hoosac Valley.

 

Anello birdied the par-4 sixth hole en route to recording the day’s top score.

 

His teammates Logan Aitken and Braylen Washburn were right behind him, finishing at 37 and 38, respectively. Each also had a birdie to start his round on the par-4 first hole.

 

Hoosac Valley’s Zach Mongeon ended his afternoon with a birdie on the par-4 No. 9 to card a 39 and lead the Hurricanes. 

 

Hoosac Valley (2-6) is home against Taconic on Tuesday.

 

Wahconah (6-3) hosts Mount Greylock on Tuesday.
