Wood, Wahconah Girls Track Edge Lenox

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. – Abby Wood won three events as an individual and ran a leg on the team’s winning 4-by-400 relay quartet to lead Wahconah to a dramatic 71-69 win over Lenox on Wednesday.

 

Wood won the 100 meters, 200 meters and 400 meters before teaming up with Alexandra Rougeau, Sage Whitney and Kathryn Perrone. Together, they won the day’s final event to put their team over the top.

 

Perrone also won the 100 meters and the long jump.

 

Mia Chaffee took first in the shot put and discus for Wahconah.

 

Wahcona’s boys cruised to a 114-22 win in the meet at Monument Mountain.

 

Cooper Calvert swept the long jump, high jump and triple jump, and Julius Kablan won the shot put and discus.
